Track and Field Inclusion Awards are a big success

Inaugural event brought about to celebrate ‘the most inclusive sport in the world’ hits all the right notes at The Ivy in Tower Bridge.

Kwakye picked up one of three legacy awards given out on the evening along with Ken Pike and Glenys Morton landing the TAFi Unsung Hero of the Year and Lloyd Cowan Bursary awards, respectively.

A total of ten awards were given out across the evening with the other seven being voted for by the public.

Winners included The TAFi Male Athlete of the Year, Seamus Derbyshire, Female Athlete of the year, Amy Hunt, Male Para-athlete of the year, Thomas Young, Female Para-athlete of the year, Hannah Cockroft, Male Breakthrough athlete of the year, Teddy Wilson, Female Breakthrough athlete of the year, Alessia Scala and Coach of the year, Sharon Morris.
