TAFi Awards · Nominations 2026

Put someone forward.

The TAFi Awards exist because of the people quietly holding community athletics together. If you know one of them, a coach, an official, a volunteer, an athlete, then this is where their story starts.

How it works?

We are inviting athletes, coaches, clubs, and supporters across the UK & Ireland to nominate – for free – those they believe deserve recognition to recieve one of our prestigious inclusion awards.

A celebration of the track and field community's commitment to inclusion, recognising outstanding contributions, nominated by athletes, coaches, and organisations, and voted for by the public.

Track and Field Inclusion Award are a celebration of the track and field community’s commitment to inclusion, nominated by athletes, coaches, and organisations, and voted for by the public.

With a number of awards to win spanning athletics clubs, coaching excellence, adaptive sports, community outreach, youth development, diversity initiatives and more, these awards recognise those who are championing inclusivity and accessibility in track and field through dedication, innovation and positive change.

The awards are community-founded and publicly voted, combining recognition of excellence with broad community participation.

Track and Field Inclusion Awards are a partnership between TAFi, UK Athletics and The Voice Newspaper. Nominations and voting of the Awards Ceremony is open to all members of the track and field community as well as supporters of inclusive athletics.

The process

Four steps. About ten minutes.

01
Choose a category

Pick the award that best fits the person or programme you're putting forward. If you're unsure, our team will help re-route the nomination.

02
Tell their story

In your own words, share what they've done, who it has affected, and why it matters. Specific moments, quotes and numbers matter more than job titles.

03
Provide context

A link, a photograph, a supporting voice, anything that helps our judging panel see the impact beyond the paperwork.

04
Submit & confirm

Once we close this stage the shortlists are announced on 29 September 2026 and voting proceeds, ahead of the ceremony on 29 October.

What we look for

Impact over
accolades.

Inclusion in practice

Concrete actions that opened the sport to people who might otherwise never have set foot on a track.

Community consequence

The knock-on effect on athletes, families, clubs, schools, recognition of change beyond a single result.

Quiet consistency

Years, not moments. The unglamorous, repeatable work that holds a sport together.

A story worth telling

Something that will move a room of strangers. Detail beats superlatives.
